| The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society began producing
broadcast-quality VHS-format video and DVDs of our shows with our 40th
Anniversary production of Mikado in 1994. Each video is recorded during a
live performance, using three studio cameras, and includes a hi-fi stereo
sound track. At present we have tapes of Trial
by Jury, Ruddygore,
Iolanthe,
The Pirates of Penzance (1998),
The
Yeomen of the Guard and The
Gondoliers and DVDs of
The Sorcerer,
Pirates, Patience,
Pinafore, Pineapple Poll, The Mikado,
Princess Ida,
and The Grand Duke.
See ordering information
below.
All videos have received rave reviews from all who have viewed them and have received many favorable mentions on the Internet and at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival. The Society also has CD recordings of Grand Duke and Pirates ($15 American) as well as collections of Pattersongs and Overtures, ($10 American) and Seattle G&S First Act Finales ($20 American.)
