Would you like to perform with us?

The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society holds auditions once a year, usually in February or March, for both principal and chorus roles.  Audition pieces are sent out in advance, with auditioners expected to perform them from memory.  In addition, those auditioning for a principal role are expected to read from the script at the auditions or at call-backs, and those auditioning for chorus generally do some improvisational exercises.

Performances are in July, and rehearsals begin at the end of March, generally with one or two rehearsals per week until June, when we increase to two or three a week.

We perform in downtown Seattle at the Bagley Wright Theater for three fun-filled weekends.
