Dennis is thrilled to be making his Gilbert & Sullivan Society - Second Stage debut in Gypsy Princess.  Since moving to the northwest from Indiana 20 years ago, he has appeared with most of the area’s professional theaters and opera companies.  In the late 1980’s, he first worked with Hans Wolf as Vasek, the idiot savant, in Hans Tacoma/Pierce County Opera Company’s The Bartered Bride, a role he repeated for Everett Opera.  A couple of years later, he worked again with Hans as Steve in the Everett Opera  production of Show Boat.  Favorite northwest roles include James Wilson in 1776 for The 5th Avenue Theatre; Lyall in Top Hat, White Tie & Tails, Man #1 in Jaques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris and Daddy Nonancort in An Italian Straw Hat for The Bathhouse Theatre; Cornelius Hakel in Hello, Dolly! and Luther Billis in South Pacific for Seattle Civic Light Opera; Bobby in Company for Sapphire Productions; and Georg Nowak in She Loves Me and Marcellus Washburn in The Music Man for MusiComedy NW.  In addition, he worked from 1984 through 1992 in chorus, bit & solo parts as a member of the Regular Seattle Opera Chorus and has appeared as guest soloist for a number of Northwest chamber orchestras and symphonies.
