The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society will again present its highly
acclaimed musical theatre workshop for high school students.
Join members of the Artistic Staff and Performers of The Seattle Gilbert &
Sullivan Society for six Saturday sessions of instruction and merriment designed
for beginners as well as more experienced performers.
Learn the “why and wherefore” of musical comedy through the works of Gilbert and
Sullivan, and improve your musical and acting ability.
Principal Teachers:
Hal Ryder, Professor of Theater at Cornish College of the Arts
Glenda Williams, Seattle Voice Coach and Music Director
Location:
The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society rehearsal facility, 522 Dexter Ave. North
(near Dexter & Mercer)
Times:
Saturdays, January 19 through February 23, 2008 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
The last class is a performance for invited guests
Cost:
$180 with a $50 deposit due on application with the balance due at the first
class.
Some scholarships are available.
