Save the Date for the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society Spring Gala
“Our ship has come in”
Saturday, May 13, 2017, doors open 5:30 p.m.
One Night Only

After nearly 140 years of “sailing the ocean blue,” HMS Pinafore is finally putting into dry dock for a well-deserved bottom cleaning. “In honor of this joyous occasion,” Sir Joseph Porter (KCB) has ordered the galley to cook a full salmon dinner with all the trimmings, and will see that extra ship’s grog will be served up to the ship’s company at seven bells. (If you please!)

The Admiralty’s First Lord invites you to join us for our annual fund-raising Gala to be held at Pacific Fishermen Shipyard. With the help of the Shipyard, we are inviting you and your guests to a full dinner, with beer and wine and dessert. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. The menu includes:

Grilled salmon dinner with side dishes
Dessert
Beer and wine
And a show!

The yard and its dry docks are located at 5351 24th Ave. NW, at the foot of 24th Ave. NW, in Ballard. Free street parking is available.

We will present a preview of HMS Pinafore, the summer show, with performances by some cast members and from many of your favorite past-cast members. This venue and the dinner are donated by Pacific Fishermen Shipyard and we are very grateful for their generosity. The venue is an active, working shipyard, with boats under repair and equipment about. There are large covered areas with heaters, and it is ADA accessible. Please dress accordingly for a Seattle evening in May.

There is group seating so please invite your friends to share this unique evening surrounded by Seattle history. We are pricing the tickets in pairs instead of as full tables. But as with our past galas, please bring your friends and make a table of it.

$120 per Couple. Individual tickets: $65. Payment in Advance.

Please reserve your tickets with me, Rachel Garson at rachelgarson@comcast.net, or call me if you have any questions at 206-324-8768.
